interesting. i actually never thought of judgment in of itself as being a necessity for the greater good because of how skewed its definition is. what im confused about is the difference in your point between rebuking and judgment..?
I would say that in order to rebuke, we must judge first. Why would you rebuke somebody if, from what you judged, is okay? In other words, one must judge in order to determine whether or not the person being judged is doing right or not. I am saying to judge our brothers and sisters, and the judgment of them SHOULD lead to rebuking them. However, i am saying that judging non Christians is useless because we have no standard to judge from because the Body of Christ has become so weak.
