In philosophy, we are learning about Descartes thinking. He says, imperfections is the absence of something. For example, the imperfection of violence is the absence of peace and whatnot. Furthermore, it takes perfection to make imperfection, a whole to make a partial whole. We, are imperfect. Thus, if we are imperfect, there must be something perfect that made us. I found this very interesting because at first, i thought that nothingness was perfect. We as humans are greatly flawed, and we would probably be more perfect if we did not exist. However, from Descartes’ point of view, we are greatly flawed because we are missing a great deal of characteristics. But, we have some remnants of perfections like some grasp of love and whatnot. We are missing so many pieces, and the only way we can find them is through a perfect God.
